No Mention of N. Korea in Obama's State of Union Address

U.S. President Barack Obama said in his State of the Union address Tuesday that the U.S. will resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomacy.

Obama said Washington is determined to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon and he will take no options off the table to achieve that goal.

However, the U.S. president omitted any comments on North Korea in the annual address, although he has mentioned the North in all his previous State of the Union addresses since taking office.

Obama said last year that the U.S. stands with its ally South Korea and insists North Korea keep its commitment to abandon nuclear weapons.
