Samsung Loses Again in German Patent Suit

The Mannheim Regional Court in Germany threw Samsung’s case out after the South Korean electronics giant filed claims against Apple last April.
The latest decision was the second out of three lawsuits Samsung Electronics filed in Germany. The South Korean company said Apple unlawfully used one of its patents that protects data under complications in communications.
Another ruling is expected to follow in March. A Dutch appeals court dismissed Apple’s appeal last year after it ruled Samsung’s tablet computers were not a copy of Apple products.
