IAEA Team Did Not Visit Nuke Facilities in Iran

A senior International Atomic Energy Agency team has failed to investigate Iran’s nuclear facilities during its stay in the Middle Eastern country.

Iran’s state-run Islamic Republic News Agency reports the IAEA delegation arrived in Iran on January 29th and held three days of negotiations with Iranian officials. But the report said the UN atomic watchdog did not visit any of the uranium enrichment facilities in the nation.

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi proposed Monday that IAEA delegates extend their stay to visit his country’s nuclear facilities if they wished.

The IAEA team is known to have discussed Iran’s alleged nuclear development program with Iranian nuclear officials.
