At least 74 Killed from Soccer Fans' Clash in Egypt

At least 74 people are dead and more than one-thousand injured after a clash among soccer fans in Egypt’s seaside city of Port Said on Wednesday.

Egypt’s state-run TV quoted Egypt’s health ministry as saying that fans of the home team, Al-Masry, stormed the field after it defeated Egypt's top team, Al-Ahly, 3-to-1. Al-Masry fans threw stones and bottles at Al-Ahly fans sparking the riot.

Most of the people who were killed suffocated or suffered serious fractures.

Local prosecutors have launched investigations on the incident and the Egyptian Premier League has delayed all games.
