US, Russia Agree to Restart 6-Way Nuke Talks Early

Russia and the U.S. have agreed to seek ways to achieve the early resumption of the stalled six-way talks on the North Korean nuclear problem.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said the two countries reached the agreement Wednesday in Moscow during a meeting between U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Glyn Davies and top Russian nuclear envoy Igor Morgulov.

The ministry said the two sides reaffirmed there is no alternative other than the peaceful resolution to the North Korean nuclear problem.
