Europe’s first North Korean restaurant has opened its doors in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.

Radio Free Asia reported on Saturday that two Dutchmen, Remco van Daal and Remco Hellingman, opened the store on January 28th.

RFA reported the store has young North Korean women serving in traditional clothing as well as singing and dancing for entertainment, much like other North Korean restaurants in China and Cambodia.

The restaurant currently accepts reservations online from its Internet home page and also has a Facebook page.

The store said it plans to connect the Western world with North Korea through various performances, movie screenings, art displays and providing information on tourism in the North.

The two owners have explained to local media that the restaurant has no affiliations with the North Korean regime.
