Apple has filed an injunction against Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Nexus, claiming that the Samsung device infringes its patents.

According to various media, the injunction was filed to a northern California court saying the Galaxy Nexus that runs on Google’s Android 4.0 infringes four of Apple’s patents. Apple has applied for the sale ban on the phone, saying one of the infringements was of its data tapping related patent.

The lawsuit is not only aimed against Samsung, but Google as well.

Apple recently lost its appeal for the same patent lawsuit against Samsung, but says that the California lawsuit is unrelated to the prior lawsuit.
