Euro Zone Finance Ministers Give Final Nod to 2nd Greek Bailout

Euro zone finance ministers gave a green light to a second bailout program worth 130 billion euros for debt-ridden Greece during a meeting in Brussels on Monday, local time.

Following the meeting, Eurogroup President Jean-Claude Juncker said that representatives from euro zone countries and Greece will sign a memorandum of understanding on the rescue package on Wednesday.

Juncker said that by 2020, Greece’s debt is expected to fall to 117 percent of gross domestic product, a figure that is lower than initially expected.
