Rice Denies Speculations She Would Run Alongside Romney

Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has denied speculations she could be Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's vice presidential running mate.

Rice told U.S. broadcaster CBS that she wasn't interested in joining Romney when asked if she would accept a proposal to run with the former Massachusetts Governor.

The former secretary of state noted that she didn't even run for student council president, explaining she likes policy but not particularly politics.

Buzz has surrounded Rice as well as Senators Marco Rubio and Rob Portman, Representative Paul Ryan, and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush as potential picks to run with Romney.
