Passenger Ship Capsizes off Coast of Tanzania

At least 24 people are dead and more than 100 others missing after a passenger ship heading for Zanzibar capsized off the coast of Tanzania.

Tanzanian authorities say strong winds apparently sunk the ship on Wednesday with 281 people on board. Authorities say 145 passengers have been rescued and 24 bodies have been recovered, but more are feared dead.

The ship was carrying 250 adults and 31 children.
