Obama Beat's Romney in June Campaign Fund Raising

Bloomberg News says U.S. President Barack Obama trumped Republican challenger Mitt Romney in June campaign donations by a large margin.

Data from the United States Federal Election Commission shows Obama’s campaign raised 45-point-nine million dollars in June alone, well ahead the 33 million dollars pulled in by the Romney campaign.

Obama entered July with 97-point-five million dollars in the bank, compared to Romney's 22-point-five million dollars on hand.

So far in his reelection campaign, Obama has raised over 307 million dollars, more than double Romney’s 156 million dollars.
