US Pres. Election Draws within 100 Days, Campaign Heating Up

The U.S. presidential election on November sixth is just a hundred days away but it's still unclear who will win the White House.

The Washington Post says Democratic incumbent Barack Obama and the Republican challenger Mitt Romney each have a 47 percent support rate at this time.

The rivalry, meanwhile, intensifies.

Romney is currently on an international tour, which includes a stop in Israel. The former Massachusetts governor has clearly demonstrated a pro-Israel, anti-Iran campaign there. Obama has also spoken up lately to defend his position on the Middle East nation.

The rival camps' advertisement onslaught against each other is also heating up.

There's little dispute that the economy and whether it will improve or worsen in the coming days will be the defining factor in the too close-to-call presidential race.
