Global spending on mobile advertisements is predicted to surge by over 60 percent this year.

Market researcher e-Marketer forecasts that the volume of the global mobile ad market will expand by 62 percent to six-point-43 billion dollars this year on the back of explosive growth in the U.S. mobile ad market.

The company also said it is certain that the U.S. will overtake Japan and become the world’s largest mobile ad market.

However, the researcher added that mobile advertising accounts for less than one percent in the global ad market, and it will take more time before becoming as influential as TV and online ads.
