Eurogroup President Jean-Claude Juncker says Greece’s departure from the euro zone is undesirable but the euro zone could handle it.

Juncker said in an interview with a German media company that Greece’s breakaway could create considerable risks for the euro zone and above all, the average Greek citizen.

He stressed that the euro zone is the pivotal political power in Europe and the European Union will lose its political significance without it.
