CNN Poll: Obama Leads US Presidential Race against Romney

U.S. President Barack Obama has grown his lead in the presidential race against former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

According to a survey conducted by CNN on one-thousand-ten adults on Tuesday and Wednesday, the support rates for Obama and Romney stood at 52 and 45 percent, respectively.

The gap has widened compared to June, when Obama enjoyed 49 percent and Romney 46 percent.

Moreover, 47 percent of respondents said that they have positive feelings about Romney, down one percentage point from the last survey. Meanwhile, Obama saw an uptick in support at 48, up six percantage points from the last CNN poll.
