UN Head to Attend Nonaligned Movement Summit

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will attend the 16th Nonaligned Movement(NAM) Summit opening next Wednesday in Iran.

Ban will discuss key global issues, including follow-ups to an agreement reached in the 2012 Rio+20 Summit on sustainable development, with the heads of state attending the Nonaligned Movement Summit.

The UN chief will also convey to Tehran the concerns of the international community over Iran’s nuclear development program.
