Restoration efforts are underway in a rural area in Sichuan Province, China that was devastated by a deadly earthquake a week ago.

Chinese authorities said recently that the focus has shifted from rescue to restoration and aid.

A day of mourning for the earthquake’s victims will be observed in Sichuan on Saturday, the seventh say since the disaster. People will fall silent for three minutes from 8:02 a.m.

Authorities estimate the disaster killed 196 people and injured eleven-thousand-470 others. Twenty one people are still missing and 230-thousand people lost their homes.
