North Korea’s official news agency said North Korea will indict Korean-American, Pae Jun-ho, also known in the U.S. as Kenneth Bae, who was detained in the North last year after he was accused of an unspecified crime during a visit to the country.
The North’s Korean Central News Agency said Pae had acknowledged all his crimes which the report said were committed in animosity against the North Korean regime, although it did not specify what crimes he had committed.
Pae, who runs a tour operation in China specializing in tours to North Korea, was arrested in November last year after he led a group of foreign tourists into North Korea through the Port of Rajin in North Hamgyong Province.
North Korea has arrested several U.S. citizens in the past, and released them after visits from high-ranking U.S. officials.
