S. Korean, Chinese Nuke Envoys to Meet in Beijing Thursday

The top nuclear negotiators of South Korea and China will meet in Beijing on Thursday and discuss policies regarding North Korea.

South Korea’s chief delegate to the six-way nuclear talks, Lim Sung-nam, will meet with his Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei and talk about the results of Wu's meeting with U.S. Special Envoy for North Korean Policy Glyn Davies in Washington last week. The two officials will also discuss the suspension of operations at the inter-Korean Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

Lim and Wu will also hold discussions on the possibility that Wu will visit the North as a special envoy.

Lim will return home late Thursday after meeting with senior lawmakers of the Communist Party of China as well as leading academics.
