Hwangjini Fashion Show to be Held in Seoul
A show of traditional costumes that were worn by the cast of the movie "Hwangjini" will be held Sept. 8 at the COEX in Seoul on an outdoor stage.

The costumes will be demonstrated by actor Ryoo Tae-jun, who played Byuk Kye-soo in the KBS TV drama "Hwangjini," as well as by Chae Min-seo, Heo Young-ran, Jin Jae-young, Ham Jae-hee and other celebrities.

Master Kim Jin-ok will stage Hwangjini's dance, which was danced by female entertainers in ancient times. A performance by a fusion traditional music team and the b-boy production "The Ballerina Who Loved a B-Boy" will also be included in the event.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Korea Welfare Foundation, the organizer of the event.

The Gangnam District Office plans to hold the event on a regular basis under the sub-title "2007 CAFF BOOM UP."

Apart from the fashion show, a sedan chair parade will be held from Hyundai Department Store in Samseong-dong to the COEX building as well as a samulnori performance.
