Lee Ki-chan is set to advance to Japan.
The talented vocalist has signed a contract with Sony Music Japan, whose endorsements include with big names such as L'Arc~en~Ciel, Tube, Crystal Kay and Chemistry.
Lee will in November release a single as a duet with a new female artist from Kioon Record, which is under Sony Music.
He had already introduced a single on his own sponsored by Japanese management when he signed a deal with Toshiba EMI Virgin Records in 2005.
His current management agency said, "Lee has also taught himself Japanese. He doesn't want to ride on the Hallyu boom but wants to start out fresh as a new singer in Japan."
Before the release in Japan, Lee will also release a single at home on Sept. 10. The title song 'Beautiful Woman' of his ninth album released in February was a big hit.
