Teen girl group Sonyeo Shidae (SNSD), also known as Girl Generation, has been gaining massively popularity recently.

The new group, that debuted just a month ago with their first single “Dashi Mannan Segye/Into The New World,” has won the “Rookie of the Month” Award for August from Cyworld, an online community site.

The song won the award for recording the most number of downloads through the website.

The group, which has a huge teen fan base, will attend a ceremony to receive the award on the 12th at the Apgujung CGV in Seoul.
