Soprano Margareta Jalkeus and tenor Peder Karlsson are two of the five members of the Real Group, one of the world's premier vocal jazz ensembles.

Meeting at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, the five members began performing as a group in 1984. Since then, they have sold more than 200,000 albums, performed more than 1,000 live shows including several in South Korea and worked with famed musicians George Martin and Bobby McFerrin.

The group usually sings a cappella but has performed with symphony orchestras, big bands and choirs.

Since their first recording in 1987, the Real Group has released seven albums in Sweden, one in the United States and one in Europe.
