Last year’s Hi! Seoul Rock Festival was held at City Hall Square, but this year, the stage has been moved to the outdoor theater at Seoul World Cup Park in Sang-am-dong, western Seoul. Thanks to last year’s success, the rock festival will be held for 3 days this year. The performance will begin at 4:30 p.m. and wrap up at 10:15 p.m.. This year, different genres of rock music will be performed on different days – modern rock on May 1st, hard rock on May 2nd and on May 5th, a combined performance of the two genres. Most of the performers will be Indie bands formed in the 1990s. Also, to provide a stage for amateur bands, 5 teams were selected to hold auditions at live clubs.
