Newcomer female singer to release a single in English
Jennifer, a 20-year-old female singer will officially make her debut in June with her single, “Getting Sick”. The song is a pop R&B track about a girl, just like the title implies, who is ‘getting sick,’ of not being treated with the respect she deserves from her boyfriend. The song was written, mixed, and mastered in the United States with the assistance of producer, Peter Rafelson, who has worked in the past with Madonna and Janet Jackson. The entire song is in English, with hopes that “Getting Sick” will not only be released in the local market but will climb the Billboard charts in the U.S. as well. Jennifer is half -Korean, born to a U.S. military officer father and Korean mother in North Carolina. Jennifer has been working in the local showbiz scene for an entertainment variety program on a local English cable channel.
