Mk 2 ‘F.I.N.KL’ set to debut in November.
A brand new 4-member girl group secretly prepared by F.I.N.KL’s management is set to unveil its identity in November.
DSP Entertainment said that they were busy preparing to launch a new group this autumn. Though the company has yet to name the group, the girls have already been nicknamed the ‘2nd generation of F.I.N.KL’.

DSP Entertainment felt there was a need for a fresh-faced all-girl band in the K-pop market, which is currently dominated by boy bands such as SS501, Super-Junior and TVXQ.

All the girl-groups that were previously successful in the K-pop scene, like S.E.S., F.I.N.KL and Baby-Vox, have now disbanded and those who had been considered their successors, like ‘Jewelry’ and ‘Sugar,’ are on hiatus as members of the groups are pursuing individual careers.

DSP C.E.O. Mr. Lee, who was in Osaka to attend SS501’s concert, stated that although the new group is being compared with ‘F.I.N.KL.’ the members are quite different. The fresh-faced group of teens will make their debut in November.
