KARA Inches Closer To BoA In Japanese Sales
KARA may soon surpass the artist that has arguably been the top Korean act in Japan: BoA.

A Japanese record association recently unveiled some figures on August 1st, showing KARA made 3.2 million digital sales. This was with a mere three songs -- "Mister", "Jumping", and "Jet Coaster Love" -- in a year.

BoA holds the current highest record for a Korean singer/group with 3.65 million sales. However, it took her 7 songs throughout the span of 11 years. With KARA having released their fourth single "Go Go Summer!" on June 29th, it's only a matter of time before their 3.2 million figure climbs even further.

"Go Go Summer!" topped Recochoku, the biggest music website in Japan, for the month of July. This was in addition to a few other charts, several of them being for cell phone ringtones or dialing tones.
