The awards ceremony for the 47th annual Daejong Film Festival -- or the Grand Bell Film Festival in English -- was held on the evening of October 29th at the Peace Auditorium of Kyung-hee University. The Daejong Film Festival is the most prestigious film festival in Korea, and this year's Best Project award went to "Poetry", directed by Lee Chang-dong. The Best Actress award went to Yoon Jung-hee. The Best Actor award was one of the many awards that "The Man From Nowhere" star, Wonbin, took home. He also won male Popularity award, Editing award, and Film Technology award, re-establishing the fact that his film was one of the best projects of the year. Idol groups Girls Generation and 2PM took to the stage to give congratulatory performances.
