There was a press conference held for MC Mong to express his side regarding suspicions of his avoiding his mandatory military duties on April 19th at a hotel in Hong-eun-dong, Seoul. MC Mong here said teary-eyed with his head bowed down, "Whether innocent or guilty [in court], for hurting Korean citizens I am guilty." The rapper was found innocent regarding suspicions of violating the mandatory military service law. However, he was found guilty of delaying his military service for a just reason. He was sentenced with six months of prison, one year of suspended jail sentence, and 120 hours of community service.
