South Korea and Japan's chief delegates to the six-party nuclear talks will meet in Seoul Thursday.

A foreign ministry official in Seoul says Kim Sook and Akitaka Saiki will have a luncheon that day. Saiki is visiting Seoul to attend a meeting of Korean missions in Japan. The two will discuss the overall North Korean nuclear situation.

They will particularly discuss strengthening cooperation with the U.S. Obama administration and results of South Korean deputy chief nuclear envoy Hwang Joon-kook's recent visit to Pyongyang.
