U.S. to Address NK Human Rights

The U.S. government has expressed concern over human rights conditions in North Korea.

State Department acting spokesman Robert Wood said in a news briefing Thursday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has expressed Washington’s increased concern over the human rights situation in Pyongyang.

Wood made clear that the Obama administration will be addressing the issue in due course, but he stopped short of elaborating on any specific policies Washington might have in store.
