'Taiwanese Cancel Trips after NK Statement'

Reports out of Taiwan say many locals are canceling their travel plans to South Korea since North Korea declared to nullify its agreements with Seoul.

A Taiwanese news channel said that although visits to South Korea’s ski slopes and plastic surgeons have surged of late due to the devaluation of the Korean currency, it expected more than half of travel reservations to be canceled since North Korea's hard-line statements last week raised security concerns on the Korean Peninsula.

Multiple Taiwanese media outlets have reported in detail on Pyongyang's declaration to scrap inter-Korean agreements.
