The head of U.S. Pacific Command says he is on the lookout for a possible long-range missile test by North Korea and has a range of responses prepared should the test occur.

Navy Admiral Timothy Keating told Reuters Thursday that the U.S. military and a number of other agencies and countries are keeping a close watch on the situation.

Keating oversees a force that includes 28-thousand troops in South Korea and 50-thousand in Japan.
