Biden Urges China, Russia to Get Tougher on NK

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has urged China and Russia to take a tougher stance on North Korea as the U.N. Security Council is struggling to come up with a unified response on the North’s rocket launch.

Biden said in an interview with CNN Tuesday that he’d like to see a strong condemnation on behalf of the Chinese and Russians in the six-party nuclear talks to say, “enough is enough and that there will be greater sanctions and pressure on North Korea.”

He added that China could do a great deal more to help resolve the situation.

Biden said that if the North’s rocket launch was a test of President Barack Obama, then the test was a failure.
