'More Vietnamese Tourists Coming to S.Korea'

The number of Vietnamese tourists visiting South Korea has sharply increased.
Vietnam’s major daily “Tuoi Tre” quoted a travel agency official on Monday as saying that the number of Vietnamese who booked trips to South Korea this month stands at about 500, a near threefold increase over the same period last year.
The paper said that the increase was attributed to rising popularity of Korean products and South Korean travel agencies’ active marketing and discounts targeting high-income earners in Vietnam.
About 18-thousand Vietnamese visited South Korea last year.
