US: Ball in NK's Court

The United States has reaffirmed that its policies on North Korea remain the same.

State Department deputy spokesman Robert Wood told reporters Friday that Washington's policies toward Pyongyang continue to remain unchanged and that the ball is in the North’s court. He added that North Korea needs to come back to the six-nation framework so that efforts can continue on the path toward a denuclearized Korean Peninsula.

He made the comment after being asked to confirm reports that former U.S. President Bill Clinton, during his recent trip to the North, warned Pyongyang it would face further isolation if it continues to boycott the six-party talks.
