Survey: 70% of Americans Consider NK an Enemy

A new survey finds that the American public regards North Korea as Washington’s biggest threat to security.

According to U.S. pollster Rasmussen Reports, 75 percent of respondents see North Korea as an enemy of the U.S.

Iran was second with 70 percent.

About 27 percent of the surveyed said they regard Russia as an enemy, while 17 percent saw the nation as an ally. Twenty-six percent of respondents said they consider China an enemy, while 19 percent consider it an ally.

The phone survey was conducted on one-thousand adults across the U.S. from Thursday to Sunday of last week.

Eighteen countries were included in the survey.
