U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's special envoy to North Korea Lynn Pascoe met with North Korean Foreign Minister Pak Ui-chun in Pyongyang on Wednesday.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency made a brief mention on Thursday of the meeting between the two but did not emphasize Pascoe’s role as the key political affairs chief for Ban.

Pascoe and his delegation will continue to meet with North Korean officials to discuss various issues, including humanitarian aid to the North.

The U.N. delegates’ four-day visit to North Korea will end Friday.
