Thailand Drops N.Korea Weapons Charges

Thailand has decided to drop charges against five crew members who were aboard a Georgian-flagged cargo plane carrying North Korean-made weapons.

With the recent decision, the Thai Justice Ministry will reportedly start procedures to send the crew members back to their respective countries.

Thai authorities seized the plane during a refueling stop on December 13th. The plane, allegedly carrying 40 tons of weapons made in North Korea, was heading for a third yet-to-be-confirmed country.

The crew was comprised of four Belarussians and one Kazakh.
