Chinese Province to Create Korean Industrial Complex

China’s Hubei Province is planning to create a Korean industrial complex in a bid to attract more investments from South Korean companies.

According to the nation’s embassy in China, the general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party in the province, Li Hongzhong, unveiled the plan in a meeting with South Korean businesspeople in the province’s capital city Wuhan.

South Korean ambassador to China Lee Kyu-hyung was also present at the meeting.

Li said that the province will set up a task force on the creation of the Korean industrial complex.

The Korean industrial complex will likely be built in the Donghu development district in Wusan.
