A team of North Korean athletes is demonstrating the traditional Korean martial art of “taekwondo” in the U.S.

The North Korean players displayed skills such as brick smashing and sparring in a one-hour show in New York on Sunday.

The audience of 800 gave a standing ovation to the team after the performance and lined up for photos and autographs with the athletes. The North Korean players seemed to be satisfied with the response they received.

The athletes’ last stop on their U.S. tour is in Delaware Valley near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before they return to Pyongyang on June 16th. New York was the second city to host the demonstration, following Boston.
