The chief of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) says all three cities competing to host the 2018 Winter Olympic Games have met the necessary requirements.

IOC President Jacque Rogge made the remark during a news conference in Geneva on Tuesday, adding that he cannot disclose his personal views on candidate cities. South Korea’s Pyeongchang, Germany’s Munich and France’s Annecy are seeking to host the winter sports event.

Rogge said he believes any of the three candidate cities will successfully host the games based on past hosting experiences, geographical conditions, sports facilities and economic levels.

The IOC will hold a general assembly meeting on July sixth in Durban, South Africa to choose the host of the 2018 games.
