U.S. Congress to Begin Preparations FTA Ratification

The U.S. Congress is set to begin preparations for the ratification of the South Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (FTA) next week.

U.S. Representative Kevin Brady of the House Ways and Means Committee said Wednesday that the committee will hold informal work sessions next week on the trade accords with South Korea, Panama and Colombia.

According to the U.S. magazine, Inside U.S. Trade, Brady is optimistic that the ratification of the three trade deals will be realized before Congress goes into August recess.
