Some 50-thousand Japanese fans of Korean pop music crowd into the Tokyo Dome for a K-pop extravaganza.

The Japanese fans dance wildly to their favorite Korean pop songs.

Over three days, more than 60 popular Korean singers performed to roughly 150-thousand fans.

Organizers initially planned to hold the concert for two days but extended it to accommodate more fans. Still, 450-thousand people couldn’t get tickets to the sold out show.

The Tokyo Dome event was the largest crowd a K-pop concert has drawn in Japan, overshadowing a massive rally against the spread of Korean culture that was held in Tokyo last month.

The success of the K-pop concert is a testimony to the huge popularity of Korean pop culture or hallyu in Japan.
