Cambridge Ranked World's Top Univ., SNU Sits 42nd

U.S. and British universities were found to have again topped the list of best universities in the world.

According to rankings produced by Britain’s education consulting firm Quacquarelli Symonds, or QS, the University of Cambridge was ranked the best university in the world followed by Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale and Oxford.

In Asia, the University of Hong Kong ranked the highest by ranking 22nd on the global scale. Japan’s University of Tokyo ranked 25th and the National University of Singapore came in 28th place.

Out of South Korean universities, Seoul National University had the highest ranking at 42nd place. The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology ranked 90th and Pohang University of Science and Technology ranked 98th.
