Int’l Oil Prices Surge on U.S. Employment Growth

International oil prices have soared following a rise in employment and a bullish stock market in the U.S.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude traded at 97-point-78 U.S. dollars per barrel on Thursday, local time, up two-point-four dollars from the previous session on Wednesday.

On the London ICE futures market, North Sea Brent crude oil jumped one-point-nine dollars to 113-point-40 dollars per barrel.

Gold prices lost 32 dollars to one-thousand-759-point-60 dollars per ounce.
