Australian media report that two Chinese students were recently beaten and robbed by Australian teenagers in Sydney.

Media say that six Australian youths attacked the students and taunted them with racist comments on a train traveling from Sydney to Rockdale on Monday morning.

Since the incident, criticism against Australia has been spreading on the microblogging site Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter. The Chinese consulate general in Sydney demanded that the Australian government conduct a thorough investigation and punish the attackers.
