'China Exporting Military Vehicles to N. Korea'

A non-government run Chinese news agency says a truck carrying missiles at a military parade in North Korea last Sunday was imported from China last year.

The Canada-based Kanwa Information Center said Thursday that the truck carrying the North’s new missile was exported to North Korea by a Chinese company last May. The center added that the North installed a U.S.-made diesel engine and a German transmission in the truck.

Kanwa said a company affiliated with the People’s Liberation Army of China exported eight of those trucks to the North, noting the Chinese firm produces special vehicles for military use.

The center stressed that China knew the vehicles would be used by the North Korean military since the trucks are clearly not for civilian use.
