South Korea is expected to sign a 200-billion won contract with Peru to export its KT-1 training aircraft next month.

The Defense Acquisition Program Administration says that it expects to reach a deal with Peru next month to export ten KT-1 trainers and ten KA-1 armed advanced training aircraft, which are an upgrade to the KT-1s.

If the deal is cut, South Korea will be exporting 220-billion won worth of products, which will be the third largest following the country’s exports to Indonesia and Turkey.
