European Stock Prices Fall Amid Poor US Economic Indicators

Major European stock prices plunged Thursday amid poor U.S. economic indicators and jitters over Spain’s economy.

Stock prices in London fell 18-hundredths of a percent on Thursday while prices in Germany slipped 26-hundredths of a percent.

Prices in France, on the other hand, saw slight growth of five-hundredths of a percent.

Stock prices fell after the U.S. economy was estimated to have grown just one-point-nine percent in the first quarter, lower than an initial projection of two-point-two percent.
